Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL), Digital Health, and Data Systems Practice

Recognizing the need for integrating learning into health and development to foster evidence-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, Artemis has built a strong technical expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), as well as digital health, and data systems. Our interest in M&E is founded on a belief in accountability – accountability to community and accountability to self. We believe that the collection, reporting and dissemination of quality information, in an open and transparent manner, is necessary to provide the learning needed to strengthen technical and financial operations, resulting in the attainment of program and national development goals and objectives.

We work with governments and institutions to design and strengthen integrated data systems that generate timely, high-quality information across health and other developmental programs. By embedding MEL frameworks and leveraging digital tools, we help organizations track performance, measure impact, and use data to improve services and outcomes.

Our approach emphasizes learning, usability, and sustainability. Through applied analytics, digital health solutions, and tailored technical assistance, we build institutional capacity to collect, analyze, and act on data. We focus on translating evidence into insight, fostering a culture of learning, and supporting data systems that are interoperable, secure, and responsive to policy and program needs over the long term.
